Richard Dawson – Poor Old Horse

March 27, 2013

Like the Warm Digits video I posted earlier, here’s another preview from the project that is Half Memory. This time though, it’s from Richard Dawson.

Poor Old Horse, a track from his upcoming album The Glass Trunk is a five minute vocal track full of emotion, pain, honesty and imperfections. Taking inspiration from notes found in the Tyne & Wear archives, Dawson presents a story of the Poor Old Horse and does it in such a way that you can hear the emotion croaking through his vocal chords. It’s harrowing and beautiful in equal measures.

The Glass Trunk and Warm Digits’ INTERCHANGE are both released on 28th April.
I have high hopes for both of these.

For the mean time, listen to the track here and stare at the glorious album art for the record.
